The role
As a Trainee Regional Transport Supervisor, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary.

Reporting to the Senior Driver you will ensure the provision of professional driving for all nominated tasks as required to meet or exceed customer and company expectations.

Day to day, you'll assist in the ground movement of aircraft and be a key part in our flight-line operations, as well as:

  • Prepare aircrafts for the upcoming days flying, conducting see-in and see-off procedures.
  • Carry out fuel and oil replenishment on the aircraft.
  • Daily maintenance checks on the company owned aircraft, carrying out preuse checks and be responsible for minor scheduled maintenance (A Check) on company owned Ground Support Equipment (GSE).
  • Drive Stakeholders/ customers/ Students as required cars, minibus, as required.
  • Operate the refuel bowser.
This role is full time and based onsite at MOD Leuchars Station.

However, the company may, on occasion, ask you to deploy temporarily to other sites or support detachments at other operating locations.


Essential experience of the Trainee Regional Transport Supervisor

  • Clean Driving Licence
  • Working knowledge of Transport and Driver legal requirements and ability to demonstrate practical and theoretical standards requirements.
  • Meet eye colour vision of CP2/CP3 for airfield airside operations.
  • Experience of working within a military environment RAF/DVSA/DGSA
