Regional Health and Safety Manager

North West

£65,000 plus car allowance, travel

Rail/Highways

Position Overview:

Working for a fast growing, UK based civil engineering company who work across a range of disciplines. This newly created role is the direct result of an increase in work in the region and a chance for the successful individual to shape the role. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee all H&S activities on-site, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive H&S plans, policies, and procedures
• Manage a small team of Advisors
• Collaborate with project managers and site teams to ensure that EHS requirements are integrated into project planning and execution.
• Required
  • Diploma level qualified with demonstrable HSE Management experience within Rail or Highways based projects
  • A good understanding of a range of different construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards and best practice
  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective H&S programmes on site
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
