    Salary Range:£36,500 to £40,500 per annum

    An established leader in turn-key subcontract manufacturing processes for precision machined components from lean manufacturing, supply chain management and precision engineering for various industry sectors are looking to employ a skilled CNC Machinist, to join their Milling department, due to consistent growth.
    Job Profile
    As the successful CNC Machinist (CNC Miller), you will be working alongside a highly motivated and skilled CNC Machinist, machining high-value, high-profile parts and components.
    Management are very open, accessible, and forward thinking and team leaders will assist with any problems.
    The shop floor is well structured, organised, and professional.
    The business is continuously developing to support and grow with their current and new World Leader customer base for various industries sectors.
    Duties:
    • Programming, setting and operating CNC Mills with Heidenhain & Fanuc controls.
    • Machining to tight tolerances from various materials ranging from plastics to general engineering to exotic metals.
    • Producing large components (previous experience of machining larger component sizes would be ideal).
    • Reading and interpreting from engineering drawings to enable programming, setting and manufacture to achieve a right first-time product.
    • Creating layout sheets to document tooling, tools, set ups and machine parameters to achieve repeatable results by self or others.
    • Ability to work on own initiative to achieve exceptional high standards and deadlines.
    • Able to qualify and document own work using a variety of measuring equipment.
    • Ability and willingness to support and train others.
    • Work safely using the appropriate PPE and maintain a safe and organised workplace.
    • Have a keen involvement with continuously improvement, providing time / cost saving ideas to management wherever and whenever possible.
    Hours:
    • 39 hours per week
    • 8am to 4.30pm, Monday to Thursday
    • 8am to 3.30pm, Friday
    • Overtime paid after 39hrs p/wk at x1.333hrs
    This position would suit an experienced CNC Machinist, with a pedigree of CNC Milling, looking to join an established, highly regarded subcontract manufacturer of highly precision machined parts and components, offering an inclusive, friendly, clean and structured environment.
