Job DescriptionBased at Hilltown Community Centre/Douglas Community Centre, you will work evenings , 3 or 6 hours per week dependent on the post.

You will have a minimum of 2 National 4s, or equivalent, one of which must be English.
Responsibilities
You will assist young people to acquire the knowledge, skills and self-confidence to participate in groups and in the community and to contribute to their development as adults.
The IndividualYou will have experience of working with young people, good organisational skills, be able to work as part of a team and motivate young people and be prepared to undertake training.
You will be committed to ongoing professional development and the values and principles of Youth Work. You must be available to work evenings and weekends.This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
The preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check, prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Dundee City Council.
