    Youll have a critical part to play in our team, supporting aftermarket operation and strategy, delivering operational excellence and continuous improvement in a fast paced environment.

    As Stock Operations Manager, you will be working as an integral member of the Stock and Space Planning team to maintain and improve all aspects of a multi-user site stock integrity.


    As part of your key responsibilities, you will:

    Drive operational excellence by utilising the Unipart Way Principles, tools and techniques, ensuring all agreed SLA and KPIs are consistently achievedDrive for continuous improvement within the site; continuously driving to reduce shrinkage by process improvement, and monitoring of results - in addition, ensure the Company has a reduced stock liability commercially through procedural complianceBe accountable for resource scheduling including recruitment, training / development and succession planning of the resources required to fulfil the requirements of the Client, within budgetBe responsible for continuous improvement of employee engagement and development plans to address issues arising from employee engagement feedbackHave overall responsibility for operational resilience within movement and control of all stocks and statusReduce company stock liability through cyclical PI and policing the inbound, fulfilment, returns and repair stock movementsPlan and deliver annual stock takesEnsure robust process improvements are in place to reduce stock/financial liability within the businessUse procedures to comply with SOX requirements as well as internal requirementsHighlight any critical level or serious issues to the Senior Management TeamIdentify and project manage corrective actions across operations to ensure the business has the most efficient systems in regard to stock at all timesSupport the succession planning and development of the team to compliment the departments strategy and meet the business needsSupport commercial with new implementationManage and motivate a team, setting clear KPIs and objectives to ensure high standards of achievementsEnsure that the Unipart Way principles, systems, tools and techniques are driving cost reduction and quality benefitsImplement Unipart Way plans and subsequently coach, mentor and support the delivery of the Unipart Way across the Stock and Space team About YouWed love you to have the following skills and experience, but please apply if you think youd be able to perform well in this role Stock management experiencePeople management skills and experienceAdmin Skills, PC Literate in all Microsoft packages including Google SuiteCustomer focusContinuous improvementDecision makingExcellent communication skills both written and verbalAnalytical and problem solving capabilitiesExcel and data analysis Our recruitment and selection process has been developed to ensure that it is consistent, fair and provides equality of opportunity - all selection decisions are based solely on technical and behavioural competencies.
