    Senior Legal Secretary/Practice Assistant Employment Part-Time - 3 days per week -Wednesday to Friday. (Job Share)

    City of London

    RANGING - £45,000 - £48,000 maximum Pro Rata+ Excellent Benefits including Bonus and Hybrid Working

    An exceptional Legal Secretary/Practice Assistant is required to join the Employment team supporting 2 Partners, 2 Senior Associates and wider team within this prestigious Law firm in the City of London. This will be a job share following a full-time colleague returning part-time after Family leave. The Practice Assistant will have a track record of working at Senior level within a law firm and now seeking a fresh challenge or wishing to switch to part-time hours.

    You will ideally be working within this Practice area of Employment and experience of Tribunal would be highly advantageous, although those with a track record of working in the practice area of Employment or have transferable skills and a genuine interest in this field will be considered.

    Consideration will be given to those who have experience in other practice areas and can demonstrate excellent adaptable skills and aptitude. The ideal PA will need to be able to demonstrate working at HOD or Partner level and be positive, proactive, and organised, with good attention to detail and able to take on a myriad of duties working to deadlines.     As Senior Legal Secretary/Practice Assistant your responsibilities will include:

    Effective and proactive diary management including planning and awareness of the Fee Earners workload. Setting up appointments andtravel arrangements as required

    Processing applications, forms, and searches with minimal supervision

    Opening and closing new client matters and carrying out due diligence checks. Preparing AML documentation and obtains relevant

    *Documentation from clients in a timely manner, as required by Fee Earners including conflict searches

    Creating typed work of a high quality, formatting in accordance with house style, at high speed, with accuracy and following internalguidelines

    Providing assistance in the delivery of marketing communications, and records all business development meetings in InterAction

    Providing excellent service to clients, both internal and external, in a timely and professional manner, presenting a positive image of the Firm atall times

    Monthly billing and invoice preparation for the Fee Earners

    Document production as required, proof-reading, track changes/amendments

    Preparing both manual and electronic bundles for cases and court

    Researching new clients/contacts and collating papers required for client meetings, and conducting basic research for the fee earners

    Liaising with both internal and external stakeholders and relevant third parties.

    Maintaining regular file management, to ensure all files are up to date, closed and archived, as appropriate and keeping accurate records of allfiles and sending to off-site storage

    Personal Competencies:

    You will need to be able to demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills, delivering a high-quality and efficient service. You will also have:

    Previous or current secretarial experience ideally working in Legal and in Employment, but transferable skills from another practice areas will be considered

    Are flexible, reliable, co-operative and has a professional approach to work

    Work as a positive, friendly, and helpful team player

    Ability to work under pressure, manage conflicting workloads, prioritise well and work to deadlines

    Able to work as part of a team in a collaborative manner

    MS Office knowledge and minimum typing speeds of 60wpm

    Have Transferable systems skills or ideally knowledge of InterAction, Intapp or BigHand

    Minimum of 5 GCSEs Grade C or above or equivalent
