Crown Worldwide Group currently has an opening for a Warehouse Operative.

Location:
Wolverhampton


Principle Objective:

To form part of the Storage team responsible for the safe movement and efficient storage of clients' effects.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Receive goods into store and pack into wooden containers, utilising best use of space. When required, ensure items are cleared of contents and cleaned before packing away.
  • Complete documentation, including inventories, in a clear and precise format following the standard categorization shown.
  • Prepare goods to go out of stores and complete documentation (including tackle of vehicles)
  • Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles by hand, using forklifts and skate when required (training will be provided).
  • Safely manoeuvring containers at height and in all areas of warehouse.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment, both within the stores and in general surrounding areas e.g. car park etc.
  • Maintain general upkeep of skates in a good working order, carrying out repairs when necessary.
  • Ensure material stocks are checked regularly and do not to fall beneath set quantities advised.
  • Carry out daily checks of forklifts, pallet trucks, racking and skates and complete necessary checklists and documents.

Skills/ Experience:


  • Previous warehouse experience (

  • Previous Fork Truck experience (
    _essential_)
  • Good understanding of use of a PC (
    _desirable_)
  • Ability to carry out handwritten inventories (
    _essential_)
  • Driving licence to be able to work between depots (
    _essential_)
