Castle Education are working with an award-winning Further Education provider in Hull and have a vacancy for a Teaching Assistant Trainer for a permanent role, 28 hrs per week.

The salary for this role is £22,050 - £24,000, dependent upon qualifications and experience.

The Role:

The Teaching Assistant Trainer would be required to deliver a range of NCFE qualifications for aspiring Teaching Assistants and some of these will be apprenticeship learners.

The courses range from Level 1 to Level 3 and would include students across adult learners.

The Teaching Assistant Trainer ideally would have taught Teaching Assistant qualifications for a number of years and has a successful track record of achievement and progression into employment.

With an understanding that individuals come from a variety of backgrounds and may present with barriers to education or this role could be ideal for a qualified and experienced industry professional Teaching Assistant looking to pass on their skills and passion for the role with aspiring Teaching Assistants.

Taught sessions will need to be fun, practical and engaging and will recognise the varied starting points of students to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications and Experience:
Teaching Assistant qualifications and industry experience

A Level 3 Teaching qualification would be ideal but can be offered in-service

Knowledge of NCFE specifications would also be ideal but not essential
