Job description:

Axon Moore are partnering with a successful and growing business in Chorley, who due to continued expansion are looking to bring in an ambitious Management Accountant.

This is an excellent role for a motivated and qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA individual to gain exposure to an excellent and high-calibre Finance Director, and progress their career substantially.

Responsibilities include:

Production of monthly management accounts and balance sheet to full audit standards, including balance sheet reconciliations
Accurate and timely processing of detailed monthend journals
VAT returns
Budgets and forecasts
Continuous improvement of processes and control
Monitor and report on progress against KPI's
Oversee the transactional finance functions and mentorship of two junior team members
Develop financial and operational reporting using Power BI
Business partnering across wider business areas
Ad hoc project work
