Our client, an established civil engineering contractor in the East of Scotland, is seeking to expand their team by welcoming a Graduate Quantity Surveyor. They are looking for an individual with enthusiasm, determination, and vitality to contribute to the team's growth and development over the upcoming months and years.

This role provides an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate with a degree in quantity surveying or a related field to embark on their professional journey.
Gain practical hands-on experience while actively contributing to the successful delivery of projects.

In this position, you will:

Collaborate closely with experienced Quantity Surveyors on significant construction projects.
Undertake essential responsibilities in procurement, cost control, and risk management.
Oversee and manage project costs efficiently.
Identify and handle project risks effectively.
Ensure project success through meticulous budget management.

Requirements:

Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying.
Prior experience in civil engineering projects is advantageous.
Demonstrated strong organizational skills to handle multiple projects concurrently.
Proficiency in key cost-based software applications.
Possession of a full UK driving license and availability to travel as needed.
