This role is a great opportunity for a payroller looking to take the next step in their career. This role is also offering a lucrativesalary for only four working days a week.

Job
As an Assistant Payroll Manager you will have the opportunity to be involved with the following:

  • Running the starters & leavers report, adding new starters to the system
  • Maintaining the accuracy of information held on the payroll system
  • Run the payroll for weekly & monthly paid employees including salary deductions & wage advancements
  • Updating any student loan/tax code changes as issued by HMRC
  • Registering eligible individuals to the pension programme
  • Processing/paying bonuses
  • Processing leaver including P45's
  • Submitting weekly/monthly RTI to HMRC
  • Collating & processing payments for training
  • Completing year end payroll process including issuing of P60's
  • Ensuring Working Time Directive compliance
  • Answering any payroll & pension queries

You
As an Assistant Payroll Manager you will be skilled &/or qualified:

  • Substantial experience in a payroll function
  • Able to solve problems quickly & delegate tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of HMRC guidelines & wage laws
  • Enthusiastic & knowledgeable personality
  • Strong knowledge of data protection laws
