Thanks to a continually increasing workload through our partnership with industry leading clients across the business we are looking to appoint an electrical designer to our EPC head office in Falkirk.
This role is integral to the delivery of multiple projects across the group and will form a key part of the EPC offering going forward.
There is great opportunity for development and progression as well as working alongside a multi-discipline team of engineers at the forefront of their sector.
The key responsibilities of the role are:
- Conducting site surveys and visits to oversee design implantation and assess the needs of the project and client.
- Carry out electrical design and specification work in line with client and project requirements. Design work will be carried out from initial concept work through to detailed design and build.
- Work alongside other disciplines to develop the design in keeping with the needs of other services and equipment.
- Work closely with the electrical engineers to develop designs and specifications in line with the project needs.
The EPC division of Engenda Group provide Engineering Consultancy services in Project management, Construction Management, Process Engineering, & Engineering Design for: Instrument, Electrical, Mechanical, Piping, Civil and Structural.

This role is being offered on either a contract basis (outside IR35) or a permanent staff basis. For the right contractor rates on offer will be up to £45ph with a long term forecast of workload (12 months+).

What we are looking for in you -
- Qualified in electrical engineering / design engineering.
- 7+ years experience within electrical engineering.
- Experience of working within a multidiscipline team.
- Experience of working within chemical, oil & gas, process or heavy industry sectors.
