    Essential experience:
    Finance Business Partnering or FP&A in a bluechip (FS adv.)


    • £70,000 - £80,000 + package (incl. bonus)
    • Flexible hybrid WFH 3 days p/wk


    Pear Talent is representing a globally recognisable Financial Services business who have an excellent opportunity for a Finance Business Partner in Group Finance.

    This is a high-profile role with regular senior leadership interaction, you'll lead critical business performance insight and financial planning support to senior management, directly influencing the company's strategic decision making and driving business performance.


    You'll be expected to be able to quickly gain credibility with senior stakeholders and own key business relationships, as well as demonstrate first class project management and communication skills.

    Work is often ad-hoc and project based.


    Key accountabilities:

    • Understand the business, including the markets in which they operate, strategies, risks, products and key drivers of performance.
    • Lead the analysis of business financial performance, MI, forecasts and contribute to regular monthly reporting to the group Exec.
    • Develop excellent MI reporting and tracking of strategic objectives using agreed KPI's.
    • Provide financial and commercial decision support papers for review by ExCo and senior leadership, including the quarterly operating review pack providing business insight and challenge.
    • Budget, forecast and planning process to monitor and predict financial performance
    • Manage and develop relationships with the business, helping to facilitate regular dialogue between business areas and Finance.
    • Developing team members, provide personal development opportunities and ensure appropriate training and development plans are in place
    • Analyse investment proposals, acquisitions and corporate projects, on an ad-hoc basis.

    Required experience:


    The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant ACA, CIMA or ACCA with a strong academic record and previous experience in a similar Finance Business Partner or FP&A role ideally within Financial Services but not essential.

    Candidates from Top10 accounting practices with Audit and M&A/TS experience should also apply but listed FS client experience will be key.
