The Council is dependent on digital tools and systems to deliver its services and an exciting opportunity has arisen in the Workforce and Change Service.

We are looking to recruit to a new role of Digital Learning Manager.

Reporting to the Learning and Organisational Development Manager, you will play a key role in transforming the organisation's learning culture and ensuring that colleagues across the council have the skills and knowledge to make the best use of the digital systems and tools available to them.

We are looking for an individual who has experience of leading a team and encouraging a work environment that has promoted creativity, collaboration and professional growth.

You will need to have experience of designing, delivering and implementing a range of digital learning and change management initiatives and evaluating their impact.

You will also need to have good knowledge of equality, diversity and inclusion in order to understand the range of accessibility needs that the digital tools can support.

Being skilled at building relationships is essential as the role involves working with a wide range of stakeholders and colleagues across the organisation.

You will need to have excellent knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications including but not limited to the following: Outlook, Word, Excel, Edge, Planner, Power Automate, Teams and SharePoint.

For the majority of our roles hybrid working arrangements are available, giving teams the opportunity to work in a way that suits them, balancing service need and individual choice - mixing both home and office working.

Join us and you'll receive an excellent rewards package including flexible working and flexitime, membership of the Local Government Pension scheme, and a generous annual leave allowance.

We welcome flexible working, for example, working from home, 9-day fortnights and would also be willing to consider applicants who want to work slightly less than full-time hours.

If you have any further queries after reading the job advert along with the attached job paperwork then please contact Sally Drewett, Learning & Organisational Development Manager on sally.

We therefore welcome, develop and promote people from all sections of the community.

We particularly welcome applications from Young People, Black and Black British, Disabled and LGBTQ+ candidates who are currently under-represented within this service of Bristol City Council.
