    Insight Global is currently hiring for a Senior Operations Engineer to join one of our clients in the Investment/Wealth Management space.

    Day to day:

    • Oversees various technologies and solutions across the core Infrastructure environment end-to-end to effectively monitor and manage the reliability and stability of the products and solutions
    • Manages the efficient day-to-day operations and maintenance of the IT services with best practices, automation and orchestration capabilities to ensure effectiveness of the service
    • Proactively identifies areas for improvement and leads the effort in standardizing, streamlining, and enhancing processes
    • Responsible for hardware lifecycle, application deployments, and providing root cause analysis of chronic or repeat incidents
    • Responsible for managing adherence to predefined SLAs and providing necessary reporting to executive team
    • Troubleshoots and configures various technologies within the clients Core Infrastructure
    • Collaborates with Engineering Teams to gauge the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems
    • Implements strategies for improving or further leveraging Infrastructure Systems
    • Responsible for monitoring system availability, performance, and service levels
    • Responsible for resolving issues, alerts, and incidents in the day to day Infrastructure Operations as well as by Business Support Teams based on predefined service level agreements regarding network, telecom, and system availability, performance, and service levels (tier 3 operational support)
    • Coordination with business users and other groups on lapse in services, performing root cause analyses, as well as receiving patching details and application deployment packages
    • Escalates unresolved issues accordingly
    • Able to provide international and 24/7 support via on-call duties and/or working a flexible off-hours schedule for planned and unplanned maintenance
    • Acts a mentor to engineers, providing assistance, guidance and training as required
    Applicants should have the following:
    • 5+ years IP telephony design and implementation experience, including Cisco UC Manager / Call Manager (CUCM), Cisco Unity / Cisco Unity Connection (CUC) and Cisco Emergency Responder (CER)
    • Experience in at least one of the following areas: Contact Center, Telepresence, or Collaboration Suite
    Including the following:
    • Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE) and SIP Trunking
    • Cisco Expressway
    • Cisco IM & Presence Server (IM&P) / Cisco Jabber
    • Cisco UC Manager Automation
    • Voice IOS Gateways with H.323, MGCP
    • Cisco Unified Survivable Remote Site Telephony (SRST)
    • RTMT Alerts and Monitoring
    • MS Teams Meetings, Zoom
    • Genesys Contact Center (Cross training only)
    • Call Recording
    • Cisco UC Manager Automation
    • Cisco Unified Call Manager
