Client Details


The client is a contract science and research organisation (CRO) based in Cambridge offering GLP and GCP bioanalysis of small molecules, large proteins for pharmacokinetics, biomarkers and immunogenicity.

They also provide cGMP analytical sciences researchand testing services, consultancy and quality control solutions to support Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC) requirements at all stages of the drug development pipeline from discovery through preclinical and clinical development to commercial manufacture.


Description

Assistant Finance Analyst Key Responsibilities:


  • Ownership and population of the Budget, Quarterly and Rolling Forecast models
  • Supporting the labour forecast as part of the global reporting function
  • Working with the FP&A Manager to assist in delivering on the global FP&A objective to provide succinct financial planning and decision support.
  • Provide initial analysis of the financial and operating budgets and forecast numbers to better understand the base against which divisional performance will be measured.
  • Regular KPI & Dashboard reporting
  • Running established reports
  • Developing new reports
  • Improving current reports
  • Monthend process and cost Analysis
  • Updating the general ledger with journal postings
  • Owning the monthly DDS P&L and developing new/existing reports to support the month end process
  • Support Month end reporting
  • Support Monthly and yearend balance sheet reconciliation
  • Be the first point of contact to support the annual audit
  • Ad hoc Reporting as required
  • Ad hoc Finance Project Support

Profile

  • General ledger experience and experience of monthly accountancy routines.
  • Experience of handling large volumes of data within excel
  • A background working in an FP&A capacity is desirable but not essential
