    Software Engineer (JavaScript)
    Location: Remote

    RS Group is actively seeking a Software Engineer to join our team permanently. We are seeking talented mid-level JavaScript-focused engineers to work on the transformation of our main e-commerce platforms.

    What you'll be doing:

  • Engage in creating applications within CMS to enhance e-commerce functionalities.
  • Work with both back-end and front-end technologies to ensure a holistic approach to platform transformation.
  • Collaborate closely with diverse teams to contribute to the ongoing transformation of our primary e-commerce platform, emphasizing quality and a customer-centric focus.
  • Actively contribute to our culture of innovation by introducing and experimenting with new technologies. Embrace an environment that values continuous learning.
  • Utilise and enhance your skills in technologies such as NodeJS, ReactJS, and implement mature testing approaches (unit tests, e2e testing, etc.).

    • About you

    The ideal candidate will be someone with substantial experience in successfully delivering a variety of e-commerce platforms. This individual should possess a natural curiosity and a keen interest in expanding their expertise in software development.

    You will bring the following:

  • NodeJS
  • Mature testing approach (unit tests, e2e testing, etc.)
  • CMS (Ideally Contentful)
  • Knowledge of pipeline and software design patterns
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

    • Desirable:

  • ReactJS
  • Cloud and DevOps familiarity (ideally AWS)
  • CI/CD practices
