Our IT team are currently seeking an Quality Assurance Engineer (12 Month Mat Cover) to be responsible for manual and automation testing of the infrastructure, applications and services within the Pure Gym estate.

You would be an integral part of an established QA team who have their own quality identity and also participate in scrum to deliver testing against a mature agile delivery model and roadmap of web & app offerings.

The Role
The QA Engineer will report into the Lead QA Manager and work completely remotely, during the 12Month FTC.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivery of manual/automation test suites covering new features and enhancements in an efficient manner
• Working with business areas and the customer to identify business needs to spike and build testing solutions
• Provide support and maintenance of business testing applications, with focus on developing preventative, rather than corrective fixes
• Consider impacts on performance, resilience, redundancy and security
• Have responsibility for stability, security, scalability,speed of website offering and metrics for internal data and network performance
• To be a central focus of innovation and creativity for the business in bringing new ways of interacting to the fore and finding new ways to leverage tech to enhance PureGyms offer to consumers in the marketplace
• Bring the 'technology view' to the table so that PureGym remains at the leading edge strategically and operationally
• Maintenance of a fit-for-purpose data set and the capability to maintain the integrity and accuracy of all business data.

The ideal candidate will have experience across the following capabilities:
