Our client is looking for an experienced Project Officer.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

IT literate with an excellent knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Word and Excel with a willingness to learn and use other systems as technology advances.
Proven ability to collect, track and analyse data and to contribute to data collecting systems
Ability to use data collection systems
Excellent meeting coordination skills including producing agenda's, minute taking, organising meetings, and communicating effectively with partners
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both orally and in writing, with the ability to forge positive professional relationships both in and outside of the team and division.
Proven ability to work successfully as part of a team and alone with minimum supervision one appropriately trained.
Proven problem solving, time management, organisational and prioritisation skills.
To be able to display sensitivity, tact and discretion and maintain appropriate service user and data confidentiality.
Self-motivated, able to use initiative and judgement in dealing with colleagues and partners.

KNOWLEDGE

Relevant knowledge of local and national policy, strategy and developments regarding domestic abuse and safeguarding, and its links to broader community safety issues.
Good understanding of the information needs and dynamics of risk assessment conferences and of risk assessment processes
Good knowledge of general administration and data management systems

EXPERIENCE

Experience of working in an office / administrative environment
Experience of processing referrals into services
Experience of using a range of databases, including the inputting and extraction of data to produce summary reports
Experience of using recognised statistical techniques to provide effective and accurate data
Experience of coordinating projects and meetings
Experience of working with a range of partner organisation.
