Our client, based in Gloucester
, is currently recruiting for a HR Manager / HR Business Partner on a 12 month fixed-term contract.

The position requires 2 days working in the office in Gloucester, and 3 days working from home.


The role will be split with 75% of its time acting as a HR Manager, managing a team of HR Administrators, and the other 25% of the time supporting key stakeholders as a Business Partner.

The position is full time (37.5 hours), and is offering up to £60,000 salary, with a £5,000 car allowance.


Duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Line managing a team of HR Administrators and a HR Administrator Team Leader
  • Developing the reporting, display and monitoring of people based KPI's for key stakeholders, including absence analysis, return to work interviews, labour attrition etc.
  • Building stakeholder relationships at exec and senior leader level
  • Working to improve the HR Administration processes to ensure a smooth employee experience
  • Developing the people management plan, including talent and succession planning, capability and performance management
  • Working with the recruitment team to develop the resourcing strategy, ensuring all vacancies are qualified and in budget
  • Ensuring managers are trained in all aspects of people management, compliance, and development practices to ensure a cohesive and consistent approach
  • Supporting the delivery of the EDI strategy and goals

Experience required:


  • CIPD L5 qualification
  • Experience of planning and executing organisational change programs
  • Building influential relationships and challenging Senior Level Managers & Exec team
