Description
Our client, based in
Coventryis currently recruiting for a
Payroll Team Leaderon a temporarycontract for
six months.

This role will only require
occasional travel to the office and there is a
strong possibility of the position becoming permanent.

The position is due to start
immediatelyon a
full time basis.


Duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Support the Payroll Supervisor and Manager to deliver business projects from a payroll perspective and deliver process improvements/efficiencies
  • Process full end to end multisite, weekly and monthly payrolls and bonuses
  • Act as the point of contact for all Payroll Advisors and resolve any escalated queries
  • Carry out yearend duties including p60s and p11Ds
  • Process statutory deductions including SSP, SMP and SPP
  • Run precommit reports for payroll, checking and supporting the team to resolve queries
  • Coordinate and compile pension reenrolment and other employee benefits

Experience required:


  • Experience dealing with pensions, maternity pay, bonus/commisions etc is preferable
  • SAP + ADP experience is preferred but not essential
  • Strong background processing end to end payroll

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:


  • Up to date and working knowledge of all relevant Payroll Legislation
  • An intermediate skill level on MS Excel
