    Job overview

    Are you interested in physiology and all things breathing-related? We are looking for a motivated individual to come and join the respiratory physiology team at UCLH. If you are interested in looking after patients; have good communication and organisational skills, along with the enthusiasm and drive to improve patient care then you could be just the person we are looking for.

    Ideally you will have a working knowledge of respiratory physiology and routine lung function tests, to include spirometry, gas transfer and static lung volume measurements and a working knowledge of routine sleep studies is desirable. If not, don't worry, training will be provided in-house and you will be supported in taking professional qualifications to hone your diagnostics skills.

    Main duties of the job

    The successful candidate will be part of the respiratory physiology team performing routine lung function tests and the setup of domiciliary sleep studies. You will also have the opportunity to assist in the more complex respiratory diagnostic assessments across a wide range of respiratory and non-respiratory conditions. You will work to maintain a good standard working environment within the laboratory across all sites.
