Description

Our client, an award-winning manufacturer are currently recruiting an experienced Senior Designer with natural problem-solving skills to fill this requirement.

Salary £ £40 000 depending on experience

EXPERIENCE

Experienced Design Engineer proven track record with the relevant skills.
Experience managing change through engineering change processes.
Proven track record designing for manufacture.
Ideally experienced in metal work design for high volume manufacture.
PDM data management and processes.
Experience as a drawing checker.

SKILLS Required

Highly proficient in CAD systems, and Solidworks
The ability to create and check technical drawings.
Confident in working as part of a team and comfortable in raising concerns or improvements to product development.
Comprehensive understanding of applied physics.
A keen eye for detail and a methodical work process.
Ability to write concise technical reports.
Excellent communication skills.
Time management, organisation and the ability to work to deadlines.
Excellent analytical and numerical skills
Ability to design sheet metal fabrications for high volume manufacturing.
Pipework design
Refrigeration circuit design and optimisation.
