    TPF Recruitment is supporting a highly reputable chartered accountancy practice in Lamberhurst, near Tunbridge Wells, Kent / East Sussex, who are looking for a qualified Senior Accountant / Client Manager to join their team.

    Our client is a well-established, multi-partner practice with an extensive client portfolio made up of some very prestigious businesses.

    Their clients range from small start-up businesses to sole traders, ltd companies, and partnerships all the way through to multimillion pound, international groups.

    You will manage your own client portfolio across accounts, and tax, but there will also be an opportunity to get involved in technical advisory services such as consolidated accounts, cashflows, corporate finance, valuations etc.

    You will report directly to the partners, and there is a fantastic opportunity to progress within this growing accountancy practice to Director level and beyond.

    You will currently be working in a medium to large independent practice, looking for a progressive opportunity, or in a Top 10/ Big 4 firm, looking to join an ambitious independent practice that can offer a fantastic career path and excellent remuneration package.

    Roles & Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant/ Client Manager Accounts preparation and review for a wide range of companies. Preparation and review of both corporate tax and personal tax returns. Reviewing work completed by junior members of the team. Advising clients on tax and advisory matters, and being their first point of contact. Supporting clients with ad-hoc project work such as consolidated accounts, cashflows, corporate finance etc. Working closely with the partners and the team to ensure that clients get the best service and advice.

    Requirements Qualified ACA/ACCA with at least 3+ years of general practice experience at a medium-large independent practice, top 10, or big 4 practice.

    Must be competent in all aspects of accounts and taxation work Be fully conversant with accounting and tax standards and demonstrate skilled commercial acumen Ability to prioritise, work on own initiative and meet deadlines Have excellent IT skills; MS Office and preferably knowledge of Iris, Sage and Xero Be an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing Benefits £45,000 - £55,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
