    Description

    R13 are excited to be supporting an industry-leading electronics distributor in the recruitment of an Account Manager to join them in Snetterton. Establishing and developing a customer account base, you will proactively manage the sales of products, continually exceeding targets and company expectations.

    This is a full time, permanent position, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The offered salary for this opportunity is up to £25,000 + OTE (£20k).

    The day to day

    • Monitoring performance against key indicators, including gross profit, call activity, margin, and traded accounts, with support from the Sales Manager.
    • Cultivating relationships with key stakeholders to introduce new products and technologies, driving sales growth.
    • Developing industry-leading product knowledge through training, research, and self-study to stay updated on market trends.
    • Collaborating with the Sales Manager and commercial team to identify and report significant sales opportunities.
    • Identifying accounts with profit potential and arranging visits for the BDM and Sales Manager.
    • Maintaining high motivation, fostering internal relationships, and adhering to ethics and compliance guidelines while working towards performance objectives set with the Sales Manager.

    You will have/be

    • Proven account management experience.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, relationship-building and presentation skills.
    • Self-motivated with a hardworking and proactive approach.
    • Relentless, results-oriented, someone that wants to go the extra mile to get the job done.
    • Logical analytical problem solver with extremely strong attention to detail.
