Machine Operator

Location - Sittingbourne, Kent

Salary - £10.48 per hour

We have a fantastic opportunity in Sittingbourne for a Machine Operator to work for one of our clients. In this role you will be working full time, Monday to Friday. Due to the remote location, you must drive and have access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

Safe operation of all equipment in line with the company H&S policy
Set and run machinery
Follow the production plan ensuring correct stock is issued to the production line
Capture and record any downtimes on the relevant documents, communicating these to the area supervisor
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Provide a detailed handover at shift change to the incoming operator/area supervisor
Other duties as deemed reasonable

Skills and Experience

High levels of numeracy and literacy
Previous experience of working as a machine operator/setter
Previous experience of FMCG or food manufacturing
Able to work as part of a team
Access to own transport
