    Description
    Purpose of the Role
    To assist with the smooth running of the shopping centre and assist with all emergency situations when they occur. This includes providing visible security cover to the centre, handling customer enquiries and customer concerns . Regular patrolling of the centre.
    Key Responsibilities
    To work the hours and shifts in accordance with conditions of employment.
    Undertake regular patrols of the centre as per the Assignment Instructions.
    To comply fully with the health and safety policy for the centre.

    To comply with their individual responsibilities to ensure that the requirements of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order are complied with in line with company policy and site procedures.

    To ensure that the rules and regulations of the centre are complied with at all times.
    Ensure that all incidents are recorded in the correct manner.
    Ensure that contractors arriving on site adhere fully to the requirements of the site Health and Safety , Contractor rules and regs & company policy
    Ensure the centre is a safe and pleasant environment.
    To be aware of and abide by all rules, terms and conditions of the company.
    To assist with enquiries from the public and respond as per customer service training / expectation.
    Officers must hold a valid SIA Guarding or Doorman licence and a valid CCTV licence.

    The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation.

    Skills, Knowledge and Experience
    Experience within the security industry, particularly in a customer facing role.
    Ability to communicate effectively.
    Able to prioritise and work effectively unsupervised.
    Good timekeeping and reliability.
    Well presented with good standards of personal hygiene.
    Basic health and safety knowledge.
    SIA Guarding/ doorman licence/ CCTV Licence
    Working Hours - 48 hours per week / 5 days out of 7
    Salary - £11.58 per hour
