Are you an experienced professional in public sector procurement improvement and transformation, who is looking to utilise their experience in this space?

This position sits within our Integrated Procurement Services team which encompasses delivery of framework agreements, consultancy, and a full end to end procurement service to the NHS.

These procurement services are being delivered by skilled teams throughefficient and effective technology platforms to ensure that the procurement solutions we deliver meet the needs of our customers.

This is a pivotal role in our expansion where you will help to shape and define our focus.

What you'll be doing:


  • Leading in the delivery of our service transformation programme to customers, to create a sustainable model for the future, focusing on systems and developing operational capability across all teams, capturing wider business projects and dependencies toensure that programme goals are reached within budget, timescales and with mínimal/manageable risks.
  • Developing procurement change management plans for projects and/or change initiatives as well as evaluating the risks and impacts of planned organisational change.
  • Identifying and managing anticipated resistance to change by leading change management work streams with a structured methodology and process. Working in partnership with stakeholders strategising, implementing, and maintaining program initiatives.
  • Maintaining close working practices with commercial data and encouraging colleagues to use data as a tool to enable change.
  • Driving the implementation and use of automation and innovation in the procurement process to support effective service delivery and benefits
  • Developing and issuing communications relevant to service transformations and change initiatives to ensure key stakeholders are engaged and informed.

What you'll bring

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior programme delivery role within procurement, ideally within the public sector
  • Experience of working within the public sector and working knowledge of procurement regulations is preferred
  • Demonstrable experience in procurement change management
  • Degree in business or project management related areas or equivalent academic qualification
  • PRINCE2 or formal project management related training and qualification

It would be great if you had:

  • Procurement related qualification and training
  • Public Sector Procurement experience preferably within NHS
