About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Patient Liaison to join our Concierge team. As a Patient Liaison Officer, you will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality service to our patients.


Your duties as a Patient Liaison Officer will include the coordination of patient appointments and activity related to the patient journey through the Concierge Centre under the guidance of the Clinical team.


You will also provide support with administrative duties in regards to clinical case load of patients at The Concierge Centre.


  • This is a nonpatient facing role.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • To provide exemplary quality customer service and support the clinical team in providing the facilitation of referrals pathways into HCA Healthcare UK, including the facilitation of the following referral pathways; International Adult and paediatrics, NHS transfers, GP referrals and specialist consultations.
  • To act as point of contact for patients, consultants, referrers where diagnostic tests are required liaising with all parties as required.
  • Liaising with patients and insurers in relation to private medical insurance cover.
  • To manage telephone calls, communicating professionally and efficiently with staff, patients as well as redirecting calls as necessary.
  • To provide effective support to carers and family members of the patients.
  • To maintain appropriate channels and styles of communication to meet the needs of patients, relatives, carers, in addition to internal stakeholders (such as service managers and peers) and 3rd parties (service providers).
