Payroll Specialist
UK or France – 3 month contract
I am currently partnered with a global media company who are looking to for a French speaking Payroll Specialist for an initially 3 months contract. This will be a remote role based in either the UK for France.
You'll be responsible for:
Communicate payroll details to the payroll provider for processing.
Record the payroll of intermittent entertainment workers according to local coding.
Review freelancer contracts for preparing freelancer payroll.
Input payroll details.
Processing payroll.
Control and verify payroll pay slips.
Review and validate the integration of the payroll interface into Workday.
Manage supplier accounts for artists and authors.
Verify invoice compliance with specific accounting and tax regulations including different applicable VAT rates.
Review fee invoices and copyright payments
Record author and artist invoices according to local coding to generate the annual tax declaration DAS.
You'll need:
Accounting Qualification.
Previous experience in accounting for artists, authors, freelancers, or intermittent entertainment workers.
Knowledge of tax and social regulations applicable to the artist sector in France.
