What to expect


The Patents Department is part of Legal and Compliance and is responsible for identifying and protecting intellectual property (IP) generated within Jaguar Land Rover.

The Department's objective is to identify new developments in the technologies that are important to Jaguar Land Rover, and to protect them in order to enhance our competitiveness, improve our market position and increase the value of the company.

The Patents Department is also responsible for defending the company against threats or litigation related to patent infringement.


What you'll need

Knowledge, skills & experience

Essential:

  • General understanding of Intellectual Property and basic patent principles and processes.
  • Ability to interpret technical information and have an eye for detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
