Description

As a Paediatric Service Coordinator for the Sleep & MRI service you will be responsible for supporting your service to run smoothly and achieve it's RTT target and diagnostic targets.

This will include managing pathways to avoid breaches, working closely with clinicians, supporting patient queries and working closely with senior management teams to manage the service effectively.

As a coordinator, you will have strong problem solving skills and be able to work independently in a fast paced environment in which there are multiple deadlines and people who need your support.

You will maintain a high standard of work when carrying out your duties.

You should ensure you have good communication skills, have a good eye for seeking out solutions and have oversight of multiple workstreams.


Main duties include:
- coordinating referrals
- booking sleep studies
- managing diagnostic pathway of patients from referral to completion of their intervention
- maintaining RTT 18 week pathways and diagnostic targets
- updating management and teams of service improvement, identifying areas for concerns and developing solutions
- supporting families with queries and appointments
- continuously look for areas for improvement
