Our client is a well-respected institution in the not-for-profit sector. Located in Manchester, they are a significant contributor to their community.


The key responsibilities of an Payroll Team Leader
will include, but may not be limited to;

  • Oversee payroll operations to ensure accuracy and timely payment
  • Coordinate with the Accounting & Finance team to streamline financial processes
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal payroll regulations
  • Manage payroll team members and provide guidance and training as needed
  • Resolve payrollrelated queries from staff
  • Develop strategies for improving payroll procedures
  • Prepare relevant payroll reports for senior management
  • Collaborate with HR to integrate payroll with company policies

The Successful Applicant:


A successful Payroll Team Leader should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Experience in a supervisory role within an Accounting & Finance department
  • Strong knowledge of payroll procedures and regulations
  • Excellent team leadership skills
  • Proficiency in relevant payroll software
  • Strong communication and problemsolving skills
