Our client is looking for a candidate that is Mechanically biased in Power Plant Engineering roles, ideally with previous and extensive experience within the industry and around topics such as Maintenance Strategy, Governance/Compliance, Plant Modification, Project/Outage Management, Contract Management and Risk Management.

Develops & delivers the effective engineering and maintenance strategy for the Engineering Team, having resource and financial planning and control to ensure the operation, engineering health, integrity and performance of the asset, in a safe, efficient and sustainable manner, maximising the commercial benefit within legal requirements.

Your profile A relevant engineering qualification with industrial experience.
A deep understanding of Power Station operations or other similar industries.
A broad knowledge and experience of Mechanical based maintenance in more than one plant areaKnowledge of current policies and procedures relevant to the roleA good working knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation and standards to IOSH or equivalentA real passion for analytical Fault-finding and problem solvingYou will have excellent Planning and organising skills to include effective prioritisation, resource management and a long term strategic focusYour Contract management skills will enable you to run a number of contracts which involve on site working to include the health, safety and environmental aspects as well as the commercial and technical issues
