ROLE SUMMARY

What are the key goals and expectations from this role?
As central to the Supply Network Planning (SNP) Centres of Excellence (CoE) this role:

  • Is the Product Owner for
    Supplier Management &
    Material Planning Processes and tools.
  • Drives a
    step change in Supplier Management & Supplier capabilities to drive
    coordinated processes, enabling digital transformation & control towers, value chains to accelerate Supply Chain maturity & gain competitive advantage.
  • Drives
    continuous improvements (CI) for Supplier Management and related material planning processes
- finding and prioritising features using AGILE (simplification, standardisation, automation, optimisation) methodology.

  • Drives process and system (KINAXIS/ECC) alignment to the global template.
  • Drives Multicategory Enterprise & ERP strategy for Supplier Management.
  • Support Multifunctional process and platform integration (Forecast to Stock, Procure to Pay).

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Supplier management and digital initiatives:

  • Product Owner for "Supplier Management" & "Material Planning" Processes standards, tools, and capabilities as part of the overarching coordinated planning template.
  • Custodian of Global Templates for Material Planning & Supplier Management : SAP+KINAXIS, processes, critical metrics
  • Handles the enhancements, automation, reporting and analytics capabilities
  • Operates within right CI governance forums such as Focus Groups and Design Review Groups (DRGs)
  • Drive Multicategory Enterprise & ERP strategy
  • Handles SAP & KINAXIS Template Change Requests and Waivers in process.
  • Articulates the supplier management strategy and framework.
  • Analyse supplier management capability: find, design, and develop optimisation processes and tools that advance the framework.
  • Leads data integrity and quality improvements
  • Ensure all modifications to supplier management systems, tools and processes conform to relevant authorisations (example: legal and SOx regulations). Ensure these are accurately solutioned, assessed, governed, and detailed prior to implementation.
  • Uses AGILE framework to priorities work.

IWS (Supply Network Pillar):

  • Define/drive mechanisms to check in process controls and compliance for supplier management DMS and Processes; includes root cause analysis and actions to drive standardisation and supply chain performance.
  • Support and take part in compliance and phased assessments to ensure processes, metrics and organisation follow integrated planning template model(s) and approach.

PEOPLE

  • Function as change agent and advocate standards that drive connected digital transformation and faster, simpler, and globally consistent end to end value chain networks.
  • Drives the development agenda in relevant governance (example: Focus Groups and DRGs), cascading upwards and downwards as part of a continuous improvement culture.
  • Proactively engage with Heads of Functions, to drive standardisation and improvements
  • Work closely with functional / regional change agents to ensure only valuable initiatives are delivered and constantly checking the product is of use to the business.
