THE COMPANY
Our client is one of the largest independent travel specialist with key values at the core.


THE ROLE
Our client is looking for a Travel Consultant within production to join their team.


Key Responsibilites:

  • Efficiently handle endtoend travel requests, ensuring client satisfaction with air, hotel, rail, and ancillary service reservations.
  • Manage postbooking changes, process reissues, and promptly address client queries.
  • Maintain accurate records in company software, adhere to Quality Control procedures, and ensure correctness of all Galileo PNRs.
  • Handle administrative tasks, including resolving accounting queries and facilitating final reconciliation with clients and Finance.
  • Negotiate with vendors for optimal rates, maximising savings and profitability.
  • Execute all tasks with attention to detail to prevent errors, financial losses, and ensure information accuracy for team continuity.
  • Report errors, concerns, and client complaints to management, contributing to their resolution.
  • Organise individual or shared Outlook inbox and departmental queues proactively.

THE PERSON

Key skills, experience and qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 years experience within a travel agency.
  • Previous experience with hotel and air fares ticketing.
  • GDS experience is essential, Galileo is preferred.
  • Degree qualification or equivalent experience is required.
