- Open Location role: South Africa or London*
- Support and manage the identification of transfer pricing risks and opportunities arising across the group and assist in the development of solutions and actions as required to manage to and deliver/ protect value for the Group in line with the Group's Tax Operating Model, by proactively provide appropriate and practical transfer pricing advice to the Group and supporting implementation of identified strategic priorities and initiatives.
- Identify the need for, create and share best practice technical standards, positions and documentation requirements to support the advice being provided by Group Tax teams.
- Design, develop and deploy appropriate tools, processes and governance to support the management of transfer pricing risk
- Provide technical and/ or other support as required to support the resolution of transfer pricing disputes within the Group.
Qualifications:
- University degree preferred
- ACA or other professional qualification
Technical Knowledge:
- Transfer pricing experience, ideally to include Operational Transfer Pricing.
- Good working knowledge of international tax principles and transfer pricing, including understanding of the impact of the changing transfer pricing and tax landscape globally.
- Ability to undertake presentations to Senior Management.
- Commercial orientation and mindset.
- Experience of working inhouse, and mining industry a plus.
- Ability to structure and articulate analysis based on data and factoring all relevant KPIs.
