- Providing sensitive care and support to children, including nappy changing, feeding, and toileting routines.
- Planning and delivering engaging activities that promote physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development, aligning with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Observing and assessing children's progress, maintaining accurate records, and communicating effectively with room staff.
- Building positive relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress.
- Adapting to different classroom routines and age groups, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.
- Contributing to the overall health and safety of the nursery environment.
- Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Education or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 months' experience working in a nursery setting (if no formal qualification).
- A genuine passion for working with children and fostering their development.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
