Salary:
£27,181 - £30,487 per annum, pro rata, Band 3


We are currently recruiting for a Professional Assistant who will support the work of the School Manager and Dean of School in the School of Technology, Business and Arts.


About the Job


To be the Professional Assistant, working closely with and supporting the School Manager and Dean of School, and undertaking projects to underpin the needs of the School.

To co-ordinate and provide continuity in the flow of information to and from the School, and to provide professional support.


As Professional Assistant, you will work across all sectors of the School with the Associate Deans, Heads of Subject, academic teams and with those in professional services roles.

You will work widely with other Schools and Directorates across the University as a whole. You will be a first point of contact for the School, alongside the School Manager. You will represent the School, and the UoS, both internally and in the external environment.


This is a key role reporting to the School Manager, providing dedicated and high-level administration support and will require communication with a range of colleagues, students and stakeholders.

Efficiency and professionalism is paramount.
