    Chief Financial Officer

    Based: Greater London

    A successful business providing design services for clients operating in the luxury sector are hiring a CFO. This is a newly created role reporting to the CEO and sitting on the company board. They are the market leaders in their sector and following sustained growth, looking to appoint a CFO to drive the next phase of their expansion. This role offers the successful candidate an opportunity to join a pioneering international business who are dynamic, innovative and highly successful.

    As CFO you will partner the CEO and board to drive the success of the business. You will be a key member of the Operating Board responsible for the financial performance of the business. You will be responsible for all operations of the finance team and all financial aspects of the business. You will deliver company strategy, drive and provide effective decision making, and ultimately be responsible for the financial development and stewardship of the company. You will need to interact and communicate directly with the Operating Board, non-finance teams, and external stakeholders (eg clients, auditors, HMRC and banks). Alongside the CEO and Commercial Director, this role will also ensure that the business delivers on the development plan and long term strategy. You identify risks and opportunies for the organsiaton.

    The successful candidate will be a Qualified Accountant who can demonstrate the ability to operate effectively in a medium sized business. We would welcome applications from candidates with experience in the creative, legal, professional or design services sectors, but this is not a prerequisite. Due to the nature of this business and their clients, acting with discretion and confidentiality will be paramount. The ability to manage and lead a sizeable team will be important in this role. You should be comfortable working in a fluid environment and possess the ability to be flexible, agile and work with ambiguity. You will be prepared to be hands on when needed and have the credibility required to interact with board level colleagues.     The CFO will be paid a strong six figure basic salary and executive package including bonus and LTIP. It will be based in Greater London and with hybrid working arrangements in place.
