We are currently partnering with a Cornish company, one of the largest in their field, seeking a Finance Manager on a 12-month maternity cover.

This position will provide financial support to the Senior Management Team and Board, providing accurate financialand operational information.

This will be a varied position reporting into the Financial Controller with a dotted reporting line to the Managing Director.

Responsibilities will include:

Management of the month end close process and preparation of the monthly management accounts
Preparation of the budget and quarterly forecasts
Cash management, including tracking of Direct Debits and petty cash reconciliation
Management of the capital expenditure programme, preparation of CAPEX appraisal forms and ownership of the asset register
Sales invoice processing
Check the pay report fortnightly, reconcile with the payroll report
Liaise with Group Finance Team and Senior Management to resolve any credit control queries
Update items, sales prices, cost of sales standards
Raise Purchase orders for general areas of expenditure
Maintenance of hire equipment schedules
Assist Group Finance with annual statutory audit and annual insurance renewal
Part or newly qualified accountant desirable (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
Strong ERP systems knowledge
Conversant with all Microsoft Office programmes, particularly advanced Excel
