CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSISTANT

HERSHAM

SALARY £20K-£23K

About the Role:


There are several elements to this role:

  • Owning sample requests, receipt, and despatch
  • Competitor, client and new opportunity research and presentations
  • Arranging, doing paperwork for, invoicing customer deliveries
  • Attending face to face and virtual meetings with clients

Main duties:


  • Delivery requests and paperwork for orders
  • Managing sample requests and ensuring timely receipt of samples
  • Sending sample parcels to customers and recording what has been sent
  • Managing container information to track orders
  • Assisting with approval and shoot/press samples
  • Order input, despatching & invoicing of orders using Sage
  • Sending DHL parcels
  • Scanning order paperwork to archiving system
  • Managing and keeping client One Drives up to date
  • Arranging and sending sealing samples
  • Maintaining and creating spec sheets
  • Organise and keep on top of retain samples
  • Carrying out research on new opportunities
  • Creating PowerPoint presentations of market and client research
Skills and Experience

  • Microsoft Office must be proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Sage 200 is preferable but not essential
  • Highly organised and flexible
