The Opportunity
Senior Accountant required for a public sector client in North Yorkshire.

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the delivery of both the Financial and Management Accounting Services of the organisation.

The Role

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for:

Working closely with the Chief Accountant and deputising as and when required.
Ensure the development and management of the Accounting Team.
Operationally lead the closure of Statutory accounts.
Handle all internal and external audit queries.
Support production and monitoring of medium term financial plans.
Provide specialist advice to complex projects and business planning by modelling and trend analysis.
Continually look to improve and develop systems and processes.
