    Job summary

    Nouvita Healthcare is seeking an enthusiastic,experienced Home Manager. The ideal candidate will be organised, approachable,personable and passionate; following Nouvitas founding principles, you willlead a team of talented individuals to better the lives of our service users.

    Main duties of the job

  • The day to day management of the Care Home and future developments within the
  • service.
  • Provide guidance and direction towards achieving Nouvitas targets.
  • Play a key role in networking, promoting and selling the service.
  • Ensure that appropriate therapeutic activities are being delivered.
  • Maintain a contemporary knowledge of legislations, statutory frameworks and codes of conduct ensuring that service is compliant.
  • Build positive relationships with other managers and work collaboratively so that projects are carried out coherently across the company.
  • Manage expenditure and allocate resources within agreed budgets.
  • Ensure that high quality service and exceptional employee performance is maintained within the Care Home.

    You will join a friendly, highly skilledand enthusiastic care team at our new care home in Luton, Windermere House.Located in a residential area of Luton in Bedfordshire, Windermere House ispart of Nouvita Healthcare and a 10 bed all-male residential home. Here we willsupport men aged 18 and older with their mental health recovery, aiding them tolive as independently as possible within the community and providing astepping-stone to supported living.

    Qualifications

    Essential

  • NVQ level 4 or above in social work, nursing or health and social care.
  • Experience

    Essential

  • Exemplary communication skills.
  • Experience managing a team
  • A history working within a mental health setting.
  • Desirable

  • Previous management of a care/nursing home would be advantageous
