Description
Key responsibilities for the Accounts Assistant will include:
- Carrying out monthly reconciliations
- Processing of journals and supporting with monthly reporting
- Assisting with accruals and the month end process
- Working with Excel daily
- Supporting the purchase ledger function and processing invoices and credit notes
- KPI reporting and carrying out balance sheet reconciliations
- Maintenance of the fixed asset register
- Dealing with queries and resolving them in a timely manner
- Assisting with the credit control process and be comfortable making outbound calls when needed
- Have previous experience of completing a month end within an industry role or will have a strong transactional finance background and will be keen to learn and develop
- Be able to work towards targets and deadlines whilst retaining a high level of attention to detail
- Have strong IT skills and will be comfortable with Excel and will be able to pick up new functions quickly
- Be enthusiastic, confident and hands on in approach
- Be able to work in a fast paced, ever changed environment
This role is extremely accessible via public transport and is commutable from all areas of West and North Leeds, Bradford and the surrounding areas.

£24,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
