We are now looking for a Hardware Design Engineer to join our team.What our Hardware Design Engineer will do
Reporting to the Equipment Development Manager, you will be joining a small team of highly skilled electronic engineers and project managers, supporting the Quality Labs team with delivering advanced test methods for product characterisation and qualification.
Delivering complex hardware solutions for characterisation of power semiconductor devicesWorking with Project Managers to create design specifications based on stakeholders' requirements
Being responsible for the development of the Hardware, Firmware and Software development activities
Creating analogue and digital designs in line with written specifications
Communicating project delivery progress with key stakeholders (project management, marketing, test, application)
Supporting and mentoring junior engineers through their activities
What our Hardware Design Engineer will need
Degree in Electronic Engineering and proven experience in hardware design
Analogue and digital design experience
High Speed and High current design experience
Strong specification writing skills for outsourcing development activities
CAD PCB design experience (Schematic and PCB)
Knowledge of power semiconductor devices, e.g. Experience in programming microcontrollers (ARM, ST, TI, PIC) and VHDL coding
Ability to project manage activities from delivering plan through to execution, test and release
Knowledge of automotive qualification standards and reliability tests (HTRB, H3TRB, IOL etc)
