SEN Teaching Assistant Position Available in Walsall
Are you a psychology graduate or a graduate with a keen interest in special educational needs?

SEN Teaching Assistant
Immediate start until July 2023

** £350 - £400 per week

Location: Walsall

** 1:1 and small group SEN support

Responsibilities:

Work with students with SEND on a onetoone basis or in small groups, providing support and guidance as needed.
Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and other support plans for students with SEND.
Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students.
Attend meetings with parents, teachers, and other professionals to discuss student progress and develop strategies for continued improvement.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and report back to teachers and parents as needed.

Requirements:

Degree in education or related field.
Experience working with children with SEND.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards working with children with diverse needs.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Flexibility and willingness to adapt to the changing needs of the school and its students.
