- Experience with venture capital and tech private equity transactions
- Experience with M&A transactions across a range of sectors
- Proven track record of leading deals and negotiations and able to take ownership of matters and run with them
- Commercially astute and stays current on key legal and business news
- Recognises and seizes opportunities for the firm, including repeat business
- Builds and develops own network of internal and external contacts
- Awareness of business development initiatives in the department and identifies ways to contribute
- Maintains a controlled, objective and flexible approach under pressure
- Proactive and innovative.
- Russian language skills would be helpful
- Experience working across the Middle East and/or with emerging markets would be helpful but not essential
