Stockton-on-Tees / £19.52 ph + £1500 Welcome Bonus / New Service
Full and Part Time hours available - Start date is 13/02/23
Unit Manager required.

My client is an award winning provider of specialist nursing care for adults living with a range of complex needs.

Currently in a period of growth this company has over 35 homes across the country and over 95% of them have a good or outstandingrating with CQC.

This service based in Sheffield provide support for 59 adults across four units and a dedicated space for rehabilitation.

Unit Manager Duties include:

  • Provide nursing care under the direction of the Manager in accordance with current best practice, and according to legislative requirements and all policy, procedures, and agreed standards.
  • Develop the Care Planning activities for residents, to meet their changing needs and in collaboration with their family and friends (where appropriate) and members of the multidisciplinary team.
  • Ensure the care needs of residents are met in a way that respects their dignity and privacy, providing personcentred care that promotes independence and choice.
  • Undertake all aspects of medicine management in line with legal, professional and regulatory requirements.
  • Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they support

Unit Manager Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with Valid Pin
  • Excellent knowledge of all Standards and NMC code of practice
  • Proven track record of personcentred care planning
  • Experienced leader and mentor
  • A passion for delivering high standards of care
