Opportunity:

Brewster Partners have an excellent opportunity for a Electrical Maintenance Engineer. You will be responsible for the maintenance, improvement, and installation of machinery.

You would be part of a skilled maintenance team, working together to ensure thebuildings and production needs are met on a daily basis, primarily electrical systems.

Working hours:
8am - 4:30pm, Monday to Thursday

8am - 3.30pm, Friday

Duties will include:

Reactive maintenance of machinery
Efficiently repair and maintain electrical equipment
Maintain records of the electrical installation and machinery present at the facility
Complete fire alarm and emergency lighting testing as per company schedules
Attend to priority electrical and occasional mechanical breakdowns during working hours
Carry out diagnostic and faultfinding techniques in a timely manner
Identify faults or hazards and troubleshoot system failures
Routine inspections of machinery and building systems
Be able to perform installation tasks as required to current regulations
Participation in preventative / predictive maintenance programs
Performing installation works of new equipment.
Ability to fault find and problem solve
Comply with all Health & Safety regulations, guidelines, procedures and policies.

Skills and experience required:

Previous experience in a manufacturing production environment working on a range of different systems and machinery
NVQ Level 3 Electrical Qualification / City and Guilds 2365 Level
Level 3 Award in the requirements for Electrical Installations BS 7671: th edition)
Handson experience & problemsolving skills
Highly motivated, cando attitude
Ensure excellent service delivery through operational excellence
Able to work on own initiative
Effective communicator and good team player
Commitment to Health & safety and best work practices
